ARTIST/WRITER/SPEAKER

Picture

Jon Pearson

Jon Pearson is a writer, speaker, artist, and creative thinking consultant. As a kid, he wanted to be President of the United States. Now, he wants to create entire worlds and help others do the same. As an artist, writer, and speaker, he has assisted more than one million people dive into the vastness of their own imaginations, to discover multi-verses within universes, and to say unsayable things in unforgettable ways. Secretly, Jon is still eight years old and believes that courage, caring, and creativity will save the world.

Speaker

As a speaker, Jon has been described as a a “force of nature.” Actually, he is just a regular guy with a ton of ideas on the creative process and a passion for drawing out the best in people while, actually, drawing. (He draws like your brain thinks.) Jon has spoken to more than one thousand schools, businesses, and groups around the world.

Writer

Jon’s work has been nominated for a 2016 and 2014 Pushcart Prize and a 2014 Million Writers Award and has been widely published. Jon writes now for the same reason he played with his food as a kid --to make the world a better place. Reading one of Jon’s stories is like getting on a bus to go from Boise to Detroit, and by the time you get to Detroit, you have turned into a three-headed leprechaun wolf.

Artist

Jon has been a caricaturist and a cartoonist for the Oakland Tribune and has created several bedtime story books for grownups, including "The Adventures of Jeff and Dave" and "Carol and Tina Join the Circus." His most recent art is a happy explosion of colors, shapes, police cars, kangaroos, birthday cakes, astronaut goats, and flying dogs.…like childhood itself shot out of a canon. Staring at his work long enough will unhinge your brain. And you will feel a magic hand unscrewing the top of your head to let the balloons out.
