"Abracadabra” is an old Aramaic word that means Creating what you say as you say it. Which is how I write, draw, and pretty much do everything. I was once described as “chaos that knows exactly where it’s going next.”
 
I have taught writing and creative thinking techniques for years. I have written over three hundred short stories, three hundred essays, three wildly unhinged (unpublished) novels, a ton of poems, and was once a cartoonist for the Oakland Tribune. My work has been widely published, and two of my short stories have been nominated for the Pushcart Prize. You can read some of my work under "Published Work."
 
I love to write, and I love to draw. I have unique ways to help you tap the thinking beneath your thinking, the constant river of images that flow beneath your words: the place from which your writing comes. Basically, I teach imagination—the fun, the joy, the sheer magic of it.
